On your possible previous attempts to quit smoking you would have no doubt hit many roadblocks. These roadblocks although they may feel to appear impossible, are nothing but more illusions created by the nicotine trap to destroy our chances of being free from tobacco. It's putting invisible iron bars around us and we become so panicked that we don't see these invisible iron bars for what they really are... another trick of the nicotine addicted mind.
So how do we reset our nicotine addicted minds and get over these roadblocks?
It's surprisingly easy... If you have the right information.
In my previous chapters we have talked about the incredible power of the human brain and how addictive substances such as nicotine warp and twist our minds into believing our reality is dependant upon cigarettes.
Imagine yourself wandering into a large hedge maze, It's filled wall to wall with beautiful, colourful flowers and bouquet arrangements. Suddenly a dark poisonous gas starts filling from the centre where you are currently standing and it's making it harder to breathe. As you try to escape, you find the one entrance that you came in has been blocked and 30 new exits have opened but only one of these leads to the way out. Do you think in a panic that you would find the correct way out? If you are one of the very small percentage that uses panic and fear to quit smoking successfully, you'll escape on the first try but this isn't ideal or necessary to stress yourself out.
The 30 exits represent the amount of times it takes an average smoker to quit smoking permanently and successfully.
If you had calmly explored each exit, you would have enough capacity to avoid the poisonous gas and escape successfully while keeping your cool.
Now suppose each exit represents a different method of quitting smoking. Exits are labelled Nicotine gum, patches, sprays, hypnosis, willpower, Champix and pills plus many more.
Any of these exits could represent the best method for you. You may find other exits keep you trapped and hooked on nicotine for the short term until you find the right exit but it's not a loss when you accidentally stumble trying to find the right exit for you. You need to give yourself the time and patience to explore all methods of quitting so you can find the right method for you. With this video series, you will have a higher chance of finding the right exit the first time. You may find using this video series in conjunction with nicotine replacement therapy could work for you but I must stress, the point of this video series is to equip you with the right knowledge and to remove your desire for smoking so you can confidently never touch another cigarette again upon completion of this video series and without other methods.
So how do you find the right exit for you?
For starters you simply had to make a smart, safe choice. Relying on any gimmicky products that systematically replace one addiction with another crutch almost never works for the majority of ex-smokers. You're equipping yourself with the knowledge to escape the nicotine trap.
And yes these other exits are advertised everywhere with testimonials of successful quitters and these different types of quit smoking aides have dedicated superfans who praise these methods because they only work for a very very small amount of people but they don't provide them with the correct way to escape the maze and the nicotine trap effectively. How many times have you seen a co-worker or family member or friend rave on about the benefits of costly gimmicky quit smoking methods only to find them choking on cigarettes a mere few weeks later?
You now have more knowledge than ever on how to quit smoking permanently and instantly. You now recognise the nicotine trap for the insidious beast that it is.
So why then are we still afraid to quit smoking?
Hint: It's human nature, let's explore in the next video.
